Joanna Weiss Raises Over $575,000 in First Six Weeks of 2024

COSTA MESA, CA – Just six weeks into the calendar year, Joanna Weiss has raised over $575,000 from individual donors across California and the country.

“We are building a campaign that is ready to win in March and in November. I am humbled by the support we have received, and I  would be grateful to represent Orange County in Congress,” said Weiss. “As a mom, voting rights advocate, and nonprofit founder, I’m running because our district deserves a pro-choice and pro-democracy leader.. Republican extremists like Scott Baugh are threatening to pass a national abortion ban. I am the only candidate that can win in November and keep this seat blue.”

“The momentum is on our side, not only with strong fundraising numbers but also with incredible recent endorsements from Voter Protection Project, Congressman Josh Harder, and Safer California,,” said campaign manager Emma Weinert.

Since launching her campaign, Weiss has earned support from Rep. Zoe Lofgren, Congresswoman Sara Jacobs, Rep. John Garamendi, Rep. Linda Sánchez, Rep. Josh Harder, Rep. Eric Swalwell, Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove, Rep. Julia Brownley, Rep. Annie Kuster, Rep. Lois Frankel, former Congressman Harley Rouda, State Controller Malia Cohen, Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis,, Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris, Orange County Supervisor Katrina Foley, Anaheim Mayor Asheligh Aitken, dozens of other women and local leaders, Moms Fed Up, EMILYs List, Elect Democratic Women PAC, Women’s Political Committee, and labor, who have announced their enthusiastic endorsement of Weiss.
